Perkins Coie Expands Litigation Capabilities with the Addition of Don Kula
Perkins Coie announced that Don Kula has joined its national Litigation practice as a partner. He will practice in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Kula joins Perkins Coie from Bingham McCutchen, where he was part of the Complex and Class Action Litigation practice and the firm's Antitrust and Trade Regulation group. He brings more than 17 years of experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including unfair competition, fraud, trade secret misappropriation and interference with contract, as well as breach of contract, valuation, product liability and real estate disputes. His clients have spanned a range of industries, including technology, manufacturing and energy.

"Don's significant trial, arbitration and appellate experience will further strengthen our litigation capabilities in the Southern California market," said Bill Emer, Los Angeles managing partner. "And because we are part a national practice, we are supported by some of the country's most talented lawyers located in offices across the country."

Kula joins a team up of more than 300 litigators who represent plaintiffs and defendants across the spectrum of business and other disputes, from relatively simple contract matters to highly complex cases in such technical areas as class action, product liability, antitrust, intellectual property, securities and employment.

At Perkins Coie, Kula will be focusing his practice on complex commercial litigation.

He earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
