KK&B Supports New MADD Program in Elementary Schools
Connecticut and elementary schools in Bridgeport, Green Farms, Stamford and New Canaan premiere MADD’s new school assembly show, GAME ON, this week in front of 2600 students. GAME ON takes students into the world of a video game using cutting edge graphics and current songs and movie clips to teach about helmet safety, how the brain works, ways they can protect their brain, and the effects of alcohol and other drugs on the growing brain. The multimedia show was created by MADD and is being sponsored by the Law Offices of Koskoff, Koskoff and Bieder in Bridgeport, CT.

“GAME ON covers the topics of bullying, tattletales, dealing with strangers and how to be safe in a car,” says Johanna Krebs, Youth Coordinator, MADD CT. “The program closes with an empowering message that shows anyone can do anything they set their minds to, as long as they try, and are alcohol and drug free. The show is seen on three giant screens spanning 45 feet lasting 35 minutes. Through the entire show there are interviews with students, expert opinions, movie clips, music videos and video game clips which enhance the fast pace of the program making GAME ON an experience student’s love.”

MADD CT and the Law Offices of Koskoff, Koskoff and Bieder are bringing this multimedia show to 7 elementary schools in Fairfield Connecticut to help educate young students of the dangers that are involved in alcohol and drug use and to remind them of safety tips needed to live a healthy life. The average age for youth to start drinking in Connecticut is 11 years old, so presenting this program to kindergarten through seventh graders plants the seeds needed to help them be substance free.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving's mission is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking. MADD Connecticut is in the process of planning next years multimedia show bookings.
