Stradley Ronon Partners Appointed to Chair Philadelphia Bar Association Committees
PHILADELPHIA –Philadelphia Bar Association (PBA) Chancellor Alan M. Feldman recently appointed Stradley Ronon partners Lee A. Rosengard and Jeffrey A. Lutsky as chairs of PBA committees. Rosengard was appointed to chair the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. Lutsky was appointed to co-chair the Large Firm Management Committee. Lutsky was also selected to serve on a task force that will work to develop and implement a section on law practice management.
Rosengard will serve a twelve-month term as chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, which addresses current issues of mediation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution processes. He will be responsible for coordinating committee programs, among other duties. A commercial litigator for more than 28 years, Rosengard focuses on complex commercial matters in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including securities, construction, unfair competition and insurance coverage cases.
Lutsky will also serve a twelve-month term as co-chair of the Large Firm Management Committee, which serves as a resource for its members – managing partners at the larger Philadelphia law firms. He will oversee monthly meetings that focus on topics selected by members, among other duties. As Managing Partner of Stradley Ronon, Lutsky is responsible for the management of more than 140 attorneys in six offices.

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP, has admitted Mark J. Dorval and Jeffrey D. Grossman to the firm’s partnership.
As a member of the business group, Dorval advises a broad range of clients on issues related to bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and commercial practices. His experience includes litigation in federal and state courts involving various bankruptcy and loan workouts issues, negotiation of settlements and loan restructuring. Dorval develops strategies and provides advice for clients with an emphasis on issues facing institutional creditors of all sizes.
As a member of the litigation department, Grossman’s clients include financial institutions, insurers, product manufacturers, other business enterprises of all sizes, charitable entities, a variety of professionals and other individuals. His areas of practice include contract disputes, securities litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith liability, surety and fidelity bonds claims, construction disputes, professional liability, product liability, mass tort and general negligence.

GARRY HAYS ELECTED AS EVIT SCHOOL BOARD PRESIDENT
PHOENIX—(January 13, 2006)—On January 9, 2006, the board of the East Valley Institute of
Technology (EVIT) governing board selected Garry Hays as their 2006 President and Dolores
Watkins as the Board Clerk. Hays became a member of the governing board in 2003 when he
was elected to represent district 9 of the EVIT service delivery area. District 9 includes Chandler
and southern portions of Gilbert, Higley, Apache Junction and Queen Creek.
Mr. Hays is a lawyer with the firm of Snell and Wilmer in Phoenix. Prior to
his employment with Snell and Wilmer, Mr. Hays worked as a policy
advisor at the Arizona Corporation Commission and served in the United
States Army. Mr. Hays is a graduate of Texas Tech University and ASU
College of Law. He and his wife Anne live in Chandler with their four
children.

Fredrikson & Byron Attorneys Appointed Honorary Legal Counsel for Minnesota Mexican Consulate

Dorsey London Elects One New Partner; Names Five New Special Counsel
LONDON (Jan. 11, 2006.) — The international law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP today announced that one attorney in the London office has been elected partner, and three London associates have become special counsel.
