Alan Levine to Receive Robert M. Morgenthau Award at Police Athletic League Luncheon
The Police Athletic League will present The Robert M. Morgenthau Award to Alan Levine at its Eighth Annual Legal Profession Luncheon (Tues., Apr. 25, at the Pierre Hotel). The Police Athletic League is the official youth agency of the New York Police Department and is New York City's largest, non-profit, independent youth organization.

Mr. Levine is the Managing Partner of Kronish Lieb Weiner & Hellman LLP, and he represents individuals and companies in complex civil, criminal and regulatory matters. Mr. Levine is active in pro bono and community affairs. He serves on the Boards of the Legal Aid Society and the Jewish Theological Seminary, among other activities. Mr. Levine has been recognized numerous times for his pro bono and charitable work.

Jackson Lewis Partner Edwin G. Foulke, Jr. Is Confirmed as Head of Occupational Safety and Health Administration
Edwin G. Foulke, JR., a partner in the Greenville, South Carolina office of Jackson Lewis LLP, has been confirmed by the U. S. Senate to become Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Mr. Foulke was nominated by President George W. Bush to the top position at OSHA in September, 2005. He is expected to take office before April 1.

Mr. Foulke earned his undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University and received his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans. He also holds an advanced law degree from Georgetown University.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis in 1995, Mr. Foulke was Chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. Since that time, he has shared responsibility for coordination of the firm's Workplace Safety practice group.

New Jersey Partners Named 2006 New Jersey Super Lawyers

Dwyer & Collora Attorneys Named by Law & Politics and Boston Magazine as Top in Massachusetts
Law & Politics and the publishers of Boston Magazine just recently released the results of a state-wide survey that named eight of
Dwyer & Collora's attorneys as Super Lawyers of
Massachusetts. Included are Thomas E. Dwyer, Jr., Michael A. Collora, William H. Kettlewell, Kathy B. Weinman, Jody A. Newman, Paul R. Cirel, David A. Bunis and Maria R. Durant. Ballots were distributed to more than 32,000 Massachusetts lawyers who were asked to vote for the best attorneys they had observed in their profession. Attorney Michael Collora was named in the top 100 of this year's Super Lawyer list.

William H. Kettlewell Named 2004 Lawyer of the Year
William H. Kettlewell, Esq., Managing Partner of Dwyer & Collora, LLP, has been named one of ten 2004 Lawyers of the Year by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Lawyers Weekly described this noteworthy group as those who stood out from the crowd in the excellence they displayed and the battles they fought. One of Mr. Kettlewell's major victories centered around a case involving executives from TAP Pharmaceuticals, which was one of Boston's biggest white-collar criminal trials in decades.

Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross P.C. Establishes Charles J. Walsh Scholar Fund
Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross P.C. is pleased to announce the establishment of the Charles J. Walsh Scholar Fund at Rutgers School of Law - Newark on behalf of the family, friends and colleagues of the late Judge Charles J. Walsh. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Walsh was a valued Member of the Firm for 17 years.

The Fund will provide financial and other assistance to students enrolled at Rutgers School of Law – Newark in the form of scholarship support, summer internship stipends, active mentorship during law school and career guidance. Selection of a Charles J. Walsh scholar will be made by the Rutgers Program Administrator with the advice of the Firm during the student’s first year of law school and will be renewed each year provided the student has achieved satisfactory academic standing and active participation in the mentorship offered by the firm. Additionally the Firm will offer a summer internship to the student.

Steven E. Gross, Managing Partner of the Firm, stated: “Chuck Walsh was a key member of our Firm. His keen intellect and superior judgment skills served him well. We felt it important to honor him by creating this scholarship fund in his name and at the same time encourage and support Rutgers School of Law – Newark and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
