Anthony T. Yeh Joins Wiggin and Dana\'s Real Estate Group as Partner
Wiggin and Dana LLP announced that
Anthony T. Yeh has joined the firm's Stamford office as a partner in the Real
Estate, Environmental & Land Use Department.
Yeh, who comes to the firm from Hartman & Craven in New York where he
served as partner, has more than sixteen years of experience providing legal
and transactional advice to a wide variety of clients. His practice includes
financing transactions and all aspects of real estate, as well as sales,
acquisitions, and leasing. He also has extensive experience in all aspects of
secured finance.

Yeh's clients include commercial banks, corporate borrowers and lenders, and
finance companies. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Yeh holds a J.D. from
Boston College Law School and a B.A. from Brown University.

Four Leading Wheeling Attorneys Join Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC
Wheeling, W.Va. – Four prominent local lawyers have joined Spilman Thomas & Battle,
PLLC. The four Wheeling residents bring a combined 100 years legal of experience
within the Ohio Valley.
Sue Seibert Farnsworth, Elba “Bo” Gillenwater, Jr., Arch W. Riley, Jr. and David R.
Croft have joined the Spilman team to form the core of the firm’s new office in
Wheeling. As one of the region’s largest law firms, Spilman offers a full-service legal
practice with offices in Charleston, Morgantown, Pittsburgh, Weirton and Wheeling.
The new Wheeling office is located in the former Seibert & Kasserman building at 1217
Chapline Street. This is the fifth office for Spilman and will help service and support the
multitude of clients located in the Northern Panhandle.
David L. Robertson, Member in Charge of the Wheeling Office, commented, “We are
pleased to be in Wheeling and are excited that we were able to recruit such a talented and
experienced group of lawyers.”
Sue Seibert Farnsworth’s primary areas of practice are estate planning and
administration. Farnsworth has represented some of the largest family estates and
charitable trusts in West Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from West
Virginia University and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University
College of Law. Sue has over 38 years of experience and is well respected in the
community for her years of public service. She is a member of the board of the West
Virginia University Foundation and the Wheeling Park Commission.
Elba “Bo” Gillenwater, Jr. practices primarily in the areas of general litigation defense,
professional liability defense, insurance defense, health care law, real estate and
mediation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Berea College and his Doctor of
Jurisprudence from West Virginia University College of Law. Gillenwater has more than
33 years of service to his clients and community. He has served on the Ohio County
Civil Service Commission since 1975 and currently serves as president of Catholic
Community Services for the Wheeling-Charleston Diocese.
Arch W. Riley, Jr. brings more than 23 years of experience in the areas of commercial
bankruptcy and general business law to the new office. He is the fourth generation of the
Riley family to practice law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University
and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University College of Law. He is
the chairman of the Planning Commission of the City of Wheeling and serves on various
boards in the community, including the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce, the
Regional Economic Development Partnership (OVIBDC) and the Wheeling National
Heritage Area Corporation (WNHAC). In 2005 he was the recipient of the 2005 James
L. Comerci Award as the volunteer of the year by Wheeling Health Right where he
serves on the board of directors.
David R. Croft joins the firm after being with Seibert & Kasserman. He practices
commercial transactions, estate planning and administration, and federal taxation law.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from West Liberty State College and he has
been a Certified Public Accountant since 1994. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence at
West Virginia University College of Law in 1999 where he also has served as an adjunct
lecturer for the past five years. He is a member of the Upper Ohio Valley Estate Planning
Council and is a board member of the American Legion Athletic Club. He is a frequent
continuing legal education lecturer on the topics of trust, tax, entity and elder law.
