Chambers Ranks Conrad O\'Brien Third in Pennsylvania Among Business Lawyers
Conrad O’Brien Gellman & Rohn, PC has been ranked third in Pennsylvania in the 2006 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers. The firm has ranked among the top firms in Pennsylvania since 2003.

According to the publication, “This prestigious boutique houses ‘great lawyers’ with highly specialized practices and a bias in favor of representing law firms in professional malpractice cases. Another strong area of expertise is defamation, where the team has a brilliant track record, and recently became involved in a case affecting Viacom. Clients keep returning to the firm because of its ‘extremely smart attorneys,’ who, one source said, ‘form a more effective group than any other I ever encountered.’”

Chambers’ description of clients and work highlights included “Over the past year, the firm advised a Fortune 100 company on a major internal investigation. It also represented a Fortune 500 chemical company in a case involving claims of natural resources damage. Other typical matters include representing a construction management company seeking over $50 million in an insurance coverage claim, and acting for a chemical sector player in a large antitrust class action.”

According to Chambers, its rankings are based on interviews of more than 10,000 lawyers and clients. “The qualities on which rankings are based include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other equalities valued by the client. The rankings and editorial comment about attorneys are independent and objective. Inclusion in the guide is based solely on the research team’s findings.
