As one of only 16 lawyers named on the list, Cannon is named by general counsel of FTSE 250 companies as “highly recommended” for her innovative and excellent legal service.

Cannon also practices in the professional indemnity field, representing major law firms and professional accountants in connection with civil and regulatory proceedings. She has a strong banking, finance and arbitration practice through her extensive experience representing multi-national corporations, governments and financial institutions.

The new rankings appear in the July 2006 issue of The American Lawyer, a leading publication for legal professionals. Covington is one of nine firms that have been named to the A-List each year since The American Lawyer inaugurated these rankings in 2003.

Bullivant’s San Francisco office names new Shareholder in Charge
Bullivant Houser Bailey PC, a multi-service West Coast law firm, has announced that San Francisco shareholder Ronald L. Richman has been named shareholder-in-charge of the San Francisco office. He succeeds former shareholder-in-charge Jess B. Millikan, who said “the firm and I are delighted that Ron has accepted the position. We are all confident that he’ll be an excellent SIC and I look forward to his leadership of our growing office.""

Mr. Richman will continue his insurance coverage, real estate, construction, and general business litigation practice. Admitted to practice in California and Ohio, he earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and his B.S. from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

Thomas P. Wert Installed As Orange County Bar Association President
Thomas P. Wert, Partner with Roetzel & Andress L.P.A., was installed as president of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) in a ceremony held May 25, 2006, in Orlando.

Founded in 1933, the Orange County Bar Association provides a variety of programs, services and opportunities for its members, as well as for the community. OCBA has more than 2,900 members in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.

Mr. Wert practices in the civil litigation arena, focusing on general commercial law and construction law. Prior to entering private practice in 1993, he served as a commercial banking officer and assistant vice president of a national banking institution. Mr. Wert earned both his bachelor of science degree in business administration and juris doctorate from the University of Florida.

Robert D. Pritt Elected President of Florida Council of Bar Association Presidents
Robert D. Pritt, Partner with Roetzel & Andress L.P.A., was elected president of the Florida Council of Bar Association Presidents (FCBAP) at The Florida Bar annual meeting in Boca Raton on June 22, 2006.

Composed of past presidents of local bar associations in Florida, the FCBAP provides assistance and support to The Florida Bar, primarily through the Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee. The association sponsors the annual Bar Leader Reception and Voluntary Bar Leader of the Year award. It provides assistance with the Annual Bar Leaders' Conference.
Mr. Pritt is a former president of the Lee County Bar Association, as well as past Chair of the
FCBAP Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee.

Mr. Pritt works out of both the Naples and Fort Myers offices of Roetzel & Andress, focusing his practice in the areas of local government, land use and real estate law.
