Jeffrey H. Miro Appointed to the Limited Brands, Inc. Board of Directors
Jeffrey H. Miro, partner, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Limited Brands, Inc. Limited Brands, headquartered inColumbus, OH, is one of the nation’s leading retailers with 3,549 specialty stores. It operates the following retail brands: Victoria’s Secret, Bath and Body Works, C.O. Bigelow, Express, Limited Stores, White Barn Candle Co., and Henri Bendel. The company reported $9.7 billion in sales last year.

Miro’s practice at Honigman focuses on Corporate Boards, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Strategy, as well as tax and family business planning. He is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School, where he teaches taxation and corporate governance. He holds an A.B. from Cornell University, a J.D. from the University of Michigan, and an LL.M. from Harvard University. Mr. Miro is also a Director of M/I Homes, Inc., a national home builder, whose shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange. He resides in Bloomfield Hills , MI .

Ashurst advises on €2.6 billion private equity acquisition
International law firm Ashurst is advising Cinven on its €2.6 billion agreement with Warburg Pincus to acquire Essent Kabelcom, the second largest cable company in the Netherlands, from Essent N.V.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2007.

The Ashurst team is being led by private equity partner Charlie Geffen with telecoms partner Andrew McMillan, assisted by solicitors Gavin Gordon and Lucy Lewis. Solicitor Nicholas Gardner is advising on tax aspects.

Andrew McMillan said:

"The European telecommunications sector is undergoing a period of rapid consolidation and we anticipate this trend continuing over forthcoming months. We are delighted to have advised on the transaction, having just recently acted on the agreement for Cinven and Warburg Pincus to acquire Casema for €2.1 billion and for Warburg Pincus' stake in Multikabel to be contributed to the new holding company."

Stibbe is advising Cinven on Dutch legal aspects and Lovells is advising Warburg Pincus.

Greenberg Traurig Expands its Corporate Practice in New York with the Addition of Robert C. Dinerstein
The international law firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced today that Robert C. Dinerstein has joined as a shareholder in the New York office where he will serve as Co-Chair of the Global Financial Institutions Group and Chair of the New York Financial Institutions practice. Mr. Dinerstein focuses his work on banking and securities regulation, new product development, and international capital markets issues. He joins the firm from UBS Investment Bank where he was most recently Vice Chairman for the Americas and Senior Corporate Counsel and was previously Managing Director and Global General Counsel. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Shearson Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Dinerstein is very involved in the New York business and charitable communities and the financial services industry. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of New York and is Chairman of the New York Chapter of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce. He is also Chairman of the New York Chapter of Everybody Wins! Foundation, a volunteer based reading and mentoring organization, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Phipps Houses and the American Red Cross of Greater New York. He has also served as Chairman of the Federal Regulation Committee of the Securities Industry Association and was a recipient of its 2005 Distinguished Leadership Award, and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Institute of International Bankers.

Mr. Dinerstein earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University.

Garvey Schubert Barer's Laura Caldera Taylor Elected to Oregon Women Lawyers Executive Committee
Laura Caldera Taylor, an Associate in Garvey Schubert Barer's Portland office, has been elected Secretary of the Oregon Women Lawyers Executive Committee. Her term runs May 2006 to April 2007.

She has served as a Board Member of Oregon Women Lawyers since 2005. In addition, she has held multiple roles with Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation: President (May 2004 to April 2005); Treasurer (2002-2004); and Board Member (2000-2005).

Ms. Taylor's practice focuses on intellectual property and business & commercial litigation. She obtained her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law (1999) and her B.A. in Political Science from California State University (1995).

Crossland Joins The Law Firm of Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell
