CWS received the award, given for outstanding support of pro bono services by a law firm, government agency or corporate legal department, for its efforts in planning, piloting, and staffing the 2006 Pro Bono Tenants' Advocacy Project. As a direct result of their efforts, many clients were able to stay in their homes.
