With five offices in Wisconsin as well as Washington D.C. and Shanghai, PRC, Green will work with clients on administrative and regulatory legal matters as well as assist businesses in their needs in international markets. Prior to being elected to Congress, Green practiced law with Godfrey & Kahn for 11 years beginning in 1989.

As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1998 until he gave up his seat in 2006 to run for governor, Green represented Wisconsin’s Eighth Congressional District which covers much of the northeastern part of the state including Green Bay and Appleton. During his time in the House, Green was a member of the House Judiciary and International Relations Committees. Before being elected to Congress, Green served in the Wisconsin Assembly from 1992 to 1998.

I also will assist Wisconsin and other Midwestern businesses in international matters, building on my experiences as an active member of the House International Relations Committee and my long-time interest in foreign affairs.”

Green received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 1983. He received his law degree in 1987 from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.
