LAMB McERLANE ATTORNEY NAMED TO DELAWARE VALLEY REGIONAL FINANCE UTHORITY
Lamb McErlane, PC, a full-service law firm, announced today that Joel L. Frank, a partner in the Litigation Department and Chairman of the firm’s Executive Committee, has been appointed to the Delaware Valley Regional Finance Authority, representing Chester County, for a one-year term in 2007.
As a member of the Authority, Mr. Frank will join four other representatives from Montgomery, Bucks and Delaware counties to finance capital projects through tax-free bond issues for municipalities and school districts.
With a concentration in litigation, Mr. Frank’s practice also includes general counseling for corporate clients. Named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2005 and 2006 for litigation, his 20-year career includes experience in complex tort and commercial litigation in federal and state courts.
A graduate of the Delaware Law School of Widener University, Mr. Frank is the Solicitor for the Republican Committee of Chester County and serves as Solicitor and on the Board of Directors of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry and on the Board of the Chester County Bar Foundation.

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Opens Office in Washington, D.C.
Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the premier provider of legal services to technology, life sciences, and growth enterprises worldwide, today announced that it has opened an office in Washington, D.C.

Jeff Dunlap named chair of U&B Employment & Labor Group and John Haggerty named chair of U&B Business Litigation Group.
Ulmer & Berne LLP, a major Ohio-based law firm with four offices throughout the Midwest, announced today that two of its partners, Jeffrey S. Dunlap and John J. Haggerty, have been elected to take on larger roles within the Firm.

Jeffrey S. Dunlap has been named chair of the Firm’s Employment & Labor Group. Mr. Dunlap replaces Thomas H. Barnard who has served as chair of the group since 1995 and has over 35 years of experience in employment and labor matters. Mr. Barnard will continue to actively participate in the Firm’s Employment & Labor Group.

As a partner with Ulmer & Berne, Mr. Dunlap represents clients in a wide range of employment and commercial disputes. He has significant experience in employment discrimination cases, complex business and securities litigation and unfair competition matters. In addition to handling matters in trial and appellate courts, Mr. Dunlap has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation. A frequent speaker on a number of legal topics, he also drafts employment contracts and counsels clients regarding employment policies and procedures. Mr. Dunlap was recently named as an Ohio Super Lawyer for 2007.

John J. Haggerty has been named chair of the Firm’s Business Litigation Group. Mr. Haggerty replaces Ronald H. Isroff who has been chair of the practice group since its inception and has been litigating business disputes for more than 35 years. Mr. Isroff will continue to actively practice and contribute his expertise to the Firm’s Business Litigation Group.

As a partner with Ulmer & Berne, Mr. Haggerty’s practice focuses on complex commercial, product liability, mass tort, and class action litigation. He is the former general counsel and a member of the board of directors of ICI Paints. Mr. Haggerty represents companies in nationwide litigation, including tobacco, lead paint, asbestos and welding rod litigation. He has extensive trial experience in both federal and state courts throughout the United States. Mr. Haggerty was recently named to The BTI Client Service All-Star Team for Law Firms for 2007. This honor was awarded to only 113 attorneys across the nation for their ability to deliver “the absolute best client service”. John also received top billing in Ohio by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in the publication’s most recent 2006 guide.

K&L Gates Announces New Partners in Firm’s U.S. and U.K. Offices
Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP (K&L Gates) is pleased to announce that the following lawyers have recently been elected to join the law firm’s partnership, effective March 1, 2007.

Christopher Centurelli has been named partner in our Boston office. Mr. Centurelli focuses his practice on intellectual property.

In our New York office, David Dickstein, Betty Louie and Robert N. Michaelson have been named partner. Mr. Dickstein focuses his practice on investment management. Ms. Louie’s practice focuses on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Michaelson practices in the area of bankruptcy.

Named partner in our Palo Alto office is James H. Prenton. Mr. Prenton’s practice focuses on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.

K&L Gates’ Pittsburgh office named partner Roberta D. Anderson, Ronald T. Aulbach, Paul C. Cancilla, Mark G. Knedeisen, Joseph C. Safar and Melissa J. Tea. Ms. Anderson focuses her practice on insurance coverage. Mr. Aulbach concentrates on tax law. Mr. Cancilla practices in the area of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. Mr. Knedeisen’s practice focuses on intellectual property. Mr. Safar concentrates his practice on antitrust and competition law and insurance coverage. Ms. Tea is a commercial litigator.

Matthew J. Mangan has been named partner in our San Francisco office. Mr. Mangan practices in the area of investment management.

In our Washington office, named partner are Eric J. Edwardson, Rebecca L. Kline Dubill and Lynn A. Schweinfurth. Mr. Edwardson concentrates his practice on mortgage banking and consumer credit. Ms. Kline Dubill practices in the area of securities enforcement. Ms. Schweinfurth’s practice concentrates on investment management law.
