Loigman to Speak at MARHedge European Hedge Fund Conference
FKSA partner Robert S. Loigman will speak at the 12th Annual MARHedge European Conference on Alternative Investments. Loigman will participate in a panel titled, "Hedge Fund Blowups—A Case Study," in which a group of legal and compliance experts will analyze past hedge fund blowups to identify red flags and explain ramifications of recent court rulings. Other panelists are Edward Stavetski, the Chief Investment Strategist at CMG Investment Advisors, LLC, and Christine Woodhouse, General Counsel to Taylor Investment Advisors LP, and the panel will be moderated by Victor Zimmermann, Jr., a partner in Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP.

The conference, which is hosted by MARHedge, will take place February 5-7, 2007 at the Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland.

Alexander E. Drapos, Humanitarian and Director at Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple Passes Away
Alexander E. Drapos, 1936-2006 It is with great sadness that we inform our clients and friends that Alex Drapos passed away on July 10, 2006. As many of you know, Alex was an extraordinary man who has been a member of Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple for almost 20 years. There are no words to express how we feel about the loss of Alex in this community. He was a friend, a great humanitarian, and a gracious and generous soul. We will miss him dearly. The firm extends its deepest sympathies to the Drapos family and all whose lives were touched by this great man. Arrangements have not been finalized at this time.

Ralph F. Sbrgona has become a Director of the Firm.
Mr. Sbrogna specializes in litigation, including commercial, personal injury, product liability and professional malpractice. He is admitted to practice before the Massachusetts State Courts and the United States District Court, and has been admitted by special appointment to numerous other state and federal jurisdictions. Mr. Sbrogna is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, American and Massachusetts Trial Lawyers Associations and Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has presented and participated in numerous legal education seminars and workshops. Mr. Sbrogna also has been active in many local organizations, including The Jimmy Fund, Worcester Art Museum, Boys and Girls Club, Worcester County Bar Association, Greater Worcester Community Foundation, United Way of Central Massachusetts, Center for Living and Working, Inc., Bancroft School, Worcester State Foundation and several youth sports groups. Mr. Sbrogna is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Suffolk University Law School.

Eugene P. O'Donnell, Jr. has become a Director of the Firm
Mr. O'Donnell joined the firm in 2003 and concentrates his practice in domestic relations law including trial of custody, visitation, child support and spousal support matters. His practice also includes litigation of issues relating to the modification and enforcement of divorce judgments. Mr. O'Donnell also appears before the Probate and Family Court and the District Court on hearings concerning petitions for protection from abuse. Mr. O'Donnell is a graduate of Merrimack College and the Massachusetts School of Law. He is a memeber of several professional organizations including the Massachusetts, Worcester and Northern Worcester County Bar Associations. He currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Worcester County Bar Association.

The Frankfurt and Munich offices of the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP are advising private equity investor Monitor Clipper Partners in connection with the voluntary takeover offer of Reverse Logistics GmbH, an indirect subsidiary of Monitor Clipper Partners, to the shareholders of CCR Logistics Systems AG. The acquisition of the shares in CCR Logistics Systems AG is subject to clearance by the German antitrust authorities.

CCR Logistics Systems AG is a specialist in the management of take-back systems in the automotive, construction, electronics and industry and commerce sectors.
