MORGAN & FINNEGAN NAMES THREE NEW PARTNERS
Matthew K. Blackburn, Keith J. McWha and John T. Moehringer have been elected partners at Morgan & Finnegan. Mr. Blackburn has been with the firm since 1998, and his litigation experience includes patent infringement and interferences. Mr. McWha, who joined the firm in 2000, has extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, procurement and client counseling. Mr. Moehringer, who joined Morgan & Finnegan in 1996, focuses on patent litigations primarily in the electrical engineering and computer science fields and has prosecuted patent applications and rendered noninfringement and invalidity opinions.

Mergermarket Benelux League Table 2006: Loyens & Loeff in top 3
To round off the year 2006 with some good news, Loyens & Loeff has climbed to the third place in Mergermarket's Benelux League Table 2006. Compared with 2005, and based on the numbers of transactions, Loyens & Loeff has climbed from the fifth place to second. Based on transaction values, we have leapt from 11th place to 3rd. These values are from the League Tables published by Mergermarket for the 1 January to 31 December 2006 period.

Minnesota Judicial Council Recognizes Lindquist & Vennum as Pro Bono Leader
The Minnesota Judicial Council, a newly formed policy-making body of the Minnesota Judicial Branch, has recognized Lindquist & Vennum for its pro bono efforts.

Chief Justice Russell Anderson presented the firm with a plaque on January 18, which honors the firm’s "extraordinary commitment to the betterment of the community through the generous contribution of pro bono legal services and other assistance rendered to the citizens of the State of Minnesota in furtherance of the fair and expeditious administration of justice."

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Lindquist & Vennum's commitment to the Pro Bono Institute's Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge, which charges that law firm's contribute pro bono hours totaling three percent of the firms annual billings. In 2006, in addition to surpassing that goal, 95 percent of the firm's attorneys and paralegals committed more than 20 hours to pro bono causes.

MILLER & MILLER ATTORNEYS AND STAFF JOIN GROGAN GRAFFAM
Grogan Graffam, P.C. announced that the attorneys and staff of Miller & Miller, LLP joined the firm on January 1, 2007. Kenneth R. Miller, Morgan A. Evans, Harvey A. Miller, Jr. and J. Lee Miller will practice in the firm’s Business Transactions practice group.

“The attorneys of Miller & Miller have provided quality legal services since it was founded in 1895 by Harvey A. Miller, Sr. The addition of these experienced and well-respected attorneys and their staff has enhanced our ability to meet our clients’ increasingly complex legal issues in estate planning and administration, tax law and real estate,” stated Dennis A. Watson, president of Grogan Graffam.

Kenneth R. Miller joins the firm as a shareholder. He is the grandson of Harvey A. Miller, Sr. Mr. Miller brings with him over 30 years experience in the areas of estate planning and administration, elder law, tax law, business formation and administration and real estate. He received his B.A. from Allegheny College in 1967 and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1973. Mr. Miller is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations.

Morgan A. Evans, the great-granddaughter of Harvey A. Miller, Sr., joins the firm as an associate. She concentrates her practice in estate planning, elder law, real estate and commercial litigation. Ms. Evans received her B.A., cum laude, from Dickinson College in 2000 and her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2003. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations.

Harvey A. Miller, Jr. joins the firm Of Counsel. He has represented clients in estates and trusts, general business matters and litigation since joining the family firm in 1948. Mr. Miller has appeared on behalf of clients before the U.S. Supreme Court, and is a member of the American and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He is Trustee Emeritus of Grove City College after having served on its Executive Committee for over 40 years. Mr. Miller is also a former Trustee of St. Francis Hospital and Passavant Hospital. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Sanctis Foundation.

MOTLEY RICE ENHANCES MANAGEMENT TEAM
Motley Rice LLC, one of the nation's largest plaintiffs' litigation firms, today announced two significant enhancements to its management team ? the addition of Roy Neal as the firm's Executive Director, and the promotion of Mina Agujia to the position of Director of Human Resources. Bringing nearly 15 years of experience in financial and operational management to the firm, Neal will oversee all financial and support operations for Motley Rice, including IT, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Operations. As Director of Human Resources, Agujia will report directly to Neal and manage the firm's employee relations, staffing, benefits, training and payroll.

Neal joins Motley Rice from The Ginn Company, specialists in real estate and resort development and operations, where he served as Controller and Financial Analyst for the hospitality division. In this role, Neal was responsible for operational functions related to large mergers, acquisitions and budgetary issues for Ginn resorts and properties in the Southeast and the Bahamas. Prior to his work at Ginn, Neal was an accomplished business owner in the Charleston area for many years. He has also held several CFO/senior management-level positions at such companies as Belle Hall Developers and the Dunes West Golf Club. Neal is a graduate of the College of Charleston.

"We strongly believe that Roy's diverse background, rich in financial and management expertise, will be a great asset to the firm," said founding member Joe Rice. "He shares our entrepreneurial spirit, and we are pleased to have him onboard and look forward to great successes together."

An integral part of the Human Resources department for the past three years, Agujia has most recently been managing the firm's employee benefits package. As Director of HR, she is responsible for the leadership, performance and effectiveness of operations related to employee benefits, staffing, policies, employee relations, compensation, safety and training at Motley Rice. She will also oversee Motley Rice University, the firm's in-house training program. Agujia's background includes nearly 10 years of human resources experience; spanning HR administration to HR management of a 250+ employee organization, including staffing, payroll and benefits services. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations from Catholic University, is an active Member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and is fluent in Spanish.

Mintz Levin Represents Prolink Holdings Corp. in $10.4 Million PIPE Financing
Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. - a full-service, 480-lawyer AmLaw 100 firm with offices throughout the U.S. and in the U.K., announced that it represented public company Prolink Holdings Corp. in a preferred stock and warrant offering which generated $10.4 million in gross proceeds. The financing was led by institutional investors Ashford Capital, Lewis Asset Management and Straus Capital. Based in Chandler, Arizona, Prolink Holdings Corp. is the world's largest provider of Global Positioning System (GPS) golf course management systems and on-course advertising.
