Paul Hastings Strengthens Intellectual Property Practice with Addition of James Coughlan to Chicago Office
Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP, a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce today that James Coughlan, previously at Kirkland & Ellis, has joined the firm's intellectual property practice, as of counsel, resident in the firm's new Chicago office. Mr. Coughlan's practice focuses on patent litigation and client counseling with a concentration on litigation before the International Trade Commission (ITC).

Coughlan has represented leading companies such as Samsung, Apple Computer, Motorola, SigmaTel, and Spectrum Brands (formerly known as Rayovac) in matters before the ITC. He was a judicial law clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and a senior staff attorney with the ITC.

Six Washington Partners Named 2007 “Super Lawyers”
Fulbright Washington partners Jonathan Franklin, Gregg Harris, Poe Leggette, Scott Maberry, Marilyn Mooney and Rick Robinson were all named to the 2007 Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers list. Representing the top five percent of attorneys in Washington, D.C., the list, which is based on surveys of more than 35,000 attorneys, is published annually in a special advertising supplement to The New York Times and in Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers, reaching a combined audience of almost 400,000 readers.

Franklin was nominated for his appellate work, Harris for his project finance practice, Leggette for his litigation practice, Maberry for his international practice and Mooney was named to the list for her experience in mergers & acquisitions. Rick Robinson was named to the health care list, and was also named to the "Top 100" list, based on receiving the highest point totals in balloting, research and the blue ribbon review process.

REZANKA ELECTED SHAREHOLDER IN LOCAL LAW FIRM
Kimberly Bonder Rezanka was recently elected as a shareholder in the law firm of Dean Mead.

Rezanka represents clients in commercial litigation matters, including real estate litigation, land use and zoning law and construction litigation. She is currently serving as president of the Brevard County Bar Association. She earned both her law degree (J.D., 1991) and her undergraduate degree in finance (B.S.B.A., 1987) from the University of Florida.

DEAN MEAD ELECTS NEW SHAREHOLDERS
Christopher R. D’Amico and David P. Hathaway were recently elected shareholders in the law firm of Dean Mead.

D’Amico represents businesses and business owners in all types of corporate and tax matters. He earned his masters in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law and his law degree from Baylor University School of Law.

Hathaway represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters, including intellectual property, business torts and creditors' rights. He earned both his law degree and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina.

Alexander Sikoscow Joins Cozen O’Connor’s New York Downtown Office as Associate
Alexander Sikoscow recently joined Cozen O’Connor’s New York Downtown office as an associate in the general litigation department. Prior to joining the firm, Sikoscow was an associate with Garson, Gerspach, DeCorato & Cohen LLP in New York, N.Y. Sikoscow has experience in managing medical malpractice cases, conducting depositions involving complex medical conferences, defending physicians at deposition, and conducting numerous client and expert issues. He has worked closely with other trial attorneys—drafting pre-trial motions, assisting in jury selection and witness preparation, and developing trial strategy.

Admitted to practice in New York, Sikoscow is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Sikoscow is a graduate of Clark University (B.A., 2000) and Tulane University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2004), where he was a senior justice on the moot court board, assistant associate editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law, and a senior fellow in legal research and writing.

Carlton Fields Shareholder, Nathaniel L. Doliner, Participated in Presentations at Stanford and UCLA Law Schools
Carlton Fields Tampa Office Managing Shareholder, Nathaniel L. Doliner, participated in a panel discussion on mergers & acquisitions at Stanford and UCLA law schools in March. Law students, investment bankers, and executives of high technology companies attended the program.

Doliner participated on the panel with other seasoned mergers & acquisitions attorneys from major law firms across the country and Canada. The panelists discussed various negotiating strategies and responded to questions from the audience.

Doliner practices in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and taxation.
