Holland & Hart's Oil And Gas Practice Ranks High In Customer Satisfaction
Holland & Hart LLP received top marks for its oil and gas legal services based on customer satisfaction, according to a recent EnergyPoint Research report. The firm ranked at or near the top in every category in a study ranking 24 law firms that provide services to the oil and gas industry.

The report included ratings in the following areas of satisfaction: performance and capabilities, fees and fee structures, relationship management, personnel, staffing practices, communication and interaction, and service and professionalism. Holland & Hart received the report's highest rating in each of these five areas and across all four reported respondent types.

“These results underscore the professional preeminence and all-around excellence of our oil and gas lawyers, paralegals and staff," said firm chairman, Paul Phillips.

Holland & Hart is the only law firm with established oil and gas lawyers in every state in the Rocky Mountain region. The firm’s oil and gas industry group provides legal services for litigation, oil and gas development, environmental issues, tort claims, drafting and negotiation of contracts, state and local taxation, intellectual property, and Indian law.

The firm has recently expanded its oil and gas group, bringing on Anthony Shaheen, who has extensive oil and gas trial experience, and Jan Harris, who brings years of oil and gas transactional experience.

“Holland & Hart has made a consistent effort to attract top-notch oil and gas talent," said Don Schultz, head of the firm's oil and gas group. "The growing strength of the group can only improve our dedication to customer service.”

Results from EnergyPoint’s 2007 Customer Satisfaction Ratings survey are comprised of 359 evaluations submitted by 112 companies in the oil and gas industry, including exploration and production companies, oilfield service and equipment providers, midstream and downstream companies, and oil and gas industry consultants. Respondents included in the survey reported having “significant experience” in hiring and working with outside counsel.

EnergyPoint Research, based in Houston, provides objective and independent research on the broad spectrum of services purchased by companies in the oil and gas industry, including legal services. The company’s MarketPartners® Reports give participants in the oil and gas industry an outlet for submitting confidential feedback regarding the services they purchase, followed by summary results illustrative of their service options in the market.
