Robinson & Cole and Monument High School Participate in Mock Trial
Robinson & Cole's Boston office teamed up with students from South Boston's Monument High School to enact a mock trial. The trial, held at Boston's Federal Courthouse, was the conclusion of an "e-Pals" program Robinson & Cole's lawyers and staff have participated in over the last few months.

The program matches students with Robinson & Cole participants who read the same assigned books and exchange emails to discuss topics covered in the classroom. The mock trial brought the latest book, Romeo and Juliet, to life as students prosecuted and defended who is to blame for the deaths of the title characters. The e-Pals program and mock trial increased the students' enthusiasm for reading, helped them become more comfortable expressing their thoughts about the book, and raised their awareness that there is often more than one legitimate point of view on an issue.
