Hanover

Firm Culture:  I was going to apply for a job, so I don't have much to say about this firm yet. Anybody out there know anything-like is the bass a dickweed? Thanks. Terry
Work & Hours:  guess 9-5
Salary & Benefits:  hope at least 70K
The Interview process:  does interviewer appear to be human?
Overall Impression:  won't know till I try

Firm Culture:  ?
Work & Hours:  ?
Salary & Benefits:  My understanding is that this firm consistently pays among the lowest salaries in the region- as low as 1/3 of market-rate salaries.

Overall Impression:  ?

Hanover

Firm Culture:  No complaints, but I thought it odd when I was interviewing and should offer a clue to the culture: The attorneys refuse to use that same refridgerator as the admin staff.
Work & Hours:  One attorney I met with leveled with me and said that a new associate won't have a life for the first few years. 12 hour days are the norm, and 14 hour days are common. Weekend work is also common.
Salary & Benefits:  This is why I felt compelled to post. I was offered a position at $64,000 a year. Long hours as a new associate I can live with. Long hours at 64K a year I could not.
The Interview process:  The process was straightforward and everyone was extremely friendly/professional. I also appreciated that everyone I spoke to was very straightforward in their responses.
Overall Impression:  The firm seemed okay from an outsider's perspective of going through the interview process, although I was honestly surprised by the low salary. I admittedly don't know how quickly or by how much raises are given, but 64K seems very low for their new associate hiring requirements.
