Firm Culture:  Sweat shop ... Don't let them fool you , you are required to get at least 175 per month ... if not , you will not be around long . The firm is run by 5 partners who will do anything to make sure they are amongst the highest paid defense lawyers in the City . Greed runs rampant . Expect to gety stabbed in the back if you stay for any lenght of time .
Work & Hours:  Reasonable , but a sweat shop .
Salary & Benefits:  Competitive .
The Interview process:  A joke . They will say only the top 25 % , but will hire anyone if one of the top 5 says so . The process here is fundamentally flawed .
Overall Impression:  You better be one of the "in" crowd to get ahead . Partnership track is a joke as well.... Don't believe the crap they will tell you .. it is not true at all . They will tell you anything to keep you around and ,make them money , but God forbid you want to try to get ahead ...they will slam they door on you quick ... They talk the talk but don't walk the walk .

Metairie

Firm Culture:   I work there and it is a close knit group of hard working, successful trial attorneys, most with long tenures at the firm and large, stable clients.
Work & Hours:  Good opportunities, rewarding work, and reasonable goals which everyone understands and most easily meet. How can you say work and hours are "sweat shop" yet admit they are reasonable?
Salary & Benefits:  Competitive
The Interview process:  They interview at all 3 state schools for clerks and hire laterally when necessary.
Overall Impression:  So the previous reviewer does not think an employee should be required to meet their "reasonable" productivity goals, be able to get along with their fellow employees (the "in" crowd), and make money for the owners of the firm? That is naive. Look carefully at the list of partners and you will see it is inclusive and expanding.
