A typical day? That really depends on which big
firm
you’re working at, because some will be more relaxed than others. The
only
constants: expect a heavy workload and long hours. Additionally,
don’t count on
any partners paying an ounce of attention to you. As a new associate at a
big
law firm, you’re small fry; I think that’s the biggest shock
for most new
attorney. They expect to be a big deal…but sadly, you’re not!
That’s ok though…just
consider yourself lucky to have a job that pays!
