To say I feel your pain would be an understatement. Don’t get me started on viruses and worms; my office went through the same thing a few months back and it’s a nightmare.  No one could get any work done b/c our computers would automatically shut down every five minutes; everyone’s files were erased; and worst of all, they refused to shut the office down to fix it, so we would all just come in and hang out for 8 hours everyday.

The only thing I can say to you is don’t bother getting frustrated; this is one of the few things that you honestly have zero control over. Instead of getting mad, just exploit the opportunity to hang out and not work…honestly, how often does that happen at a big firm?
