Beyond 5Dear Judge,
Why doesn't the profile page include an associate level that is past 5
years? Are we not worthy? Is our suffering and anguish not as resonant?
I think the 5 year and over crowd have as much if not more street cred than
anyone else.

Dear Bitter,
Dear Beyond 5,
The reason is simple. No one should work in a law firm more than 5
years--any law firm. Have you seen what happens to people beyond that
level? Have you heard how they talk? Have you stood close to them when
they speak? Frankly, beyond 5 years in a law firm produces some of the
most messed up people imaginable. Do not do it. Please stop thinking
about what working in a law firm more than 5 years is like. Are you insane?
